Best Gaming is an independent guides site from dhumketu ai labs, edited by Joy Jacob. It exists because most "gaming tips" online are either rage-bait, affiliate listicles for gear you don't need, or wiki dumps that never explain why. We write the version we wanted: tested, specific, and honest about what actually moves the needle versus what's placebo.

What we cover

The skills and gear that carry across games, not this week's patch meta:

• Settings & performance — input lag, FPS, ping, and the menu options that matter
• Hardware know-how — switches, refresh rate, mice, monitors, and what the specs mean
• Skill tutorials — aim training, reaction time, movement, and practice routines

How we keep it useful

• Tested, not theorized. When we say a setting helps, we explain the mechanism and how to verify it on your own rig.
• Placebo flagged. Plenty of popular "fixes" do nothing. We say so, with the reason.
• Evergreen first. We favour skills and hardware that age slowly over per-patch tier lists that rot in a week.
• Human-edited. Every guide is reviewed before it publishes — see our editorial standards.

How guides get made

We run an AI-assisted publishing pipeline: we pick the topic and the angle, AI drafts from that brief, and a human edits, sanity-checks the steps, and signs off before anything ships. AI assists; the editor is accountable. The long version is on the editorial standards page.
